ABOUT CLD
THE CLD TEAM
CLD PROJECT LIST
California Landmark, a development and investment company formed in
1988, acquires, rehabilitates and develops real estate primarily in
Southern California.
California Landmark orchestrates all aspects of the development cycle.
We evaluate opportunities presented by private owners and brokers, and
have forged strong relationships with local and national lenders. We
simultaneously interact with all consultants, including, lawyers,
land-use planners, architects, civil engineers, geotechnical engineers,
structural engineers, and mechanical engineers. We have extensive
experience preparing specifications and cost estimating in order to
ensure successful, profitable projects. We maintain excellent working
relationships with city planning, housing, and building departments,
design review boards, OSHPD, FEMA, and various homeowner associations.
California Landmark has been successful at developing complex
multi-family projects in the most difficult areas of Los Angeles County
by working with politicians, planning and housing departments,
neighborhood associations and consultants to meet the projects’ and
communities’ needs. Each of our projects has a unique set of entitlement
challenges, yet by proposing creative solutions to these challenges, we
are able to attain an even greater economic return than what was
originally entitled on the site.
California Landmark's residential projects are known for their quality
and character. Recent projects include 1) a 300,000-square-foot luxury
residential high-rise tower on the Wilshire Corridor; 2) a
45,000-square-foot condominium project in Westwood; and 3) 100,000
square-feet of small industrial buildings in Oxnard. Future projects
include: 1) an 82-unit condominium project in Pacific Palisades; 2) over
100 loft style condos and townhomes adjacent to Marina del Rey; and 3) a
24-story, 78-unit residential condominium and office space project in
Brentwood.
The firm has also been creative and resourceful in solving problems on
difficult commercial and industrial sites, with projects as varied as a
150-bed skilled rehabilitation hospital, a 25,000-square-foot state of
California Corrections office and a 15-building industrial park. Our
commercial projects have award-winning exteriors, even as they maintain
interior designs that allow maximum function. These buildings attract
quality tenants, as well as minimize user turnover.
